The Day Pi Pi went to extremes to eat Marche
Kk went for his employment medical checkup again in the morning. Raffles Medical Clinic lost his medical report he took in August. Kk called them to ask for his report cos he needs to buy medical insurance then discover his report lost. The receptionist still dared to argue that the report was lost in delivery. If lost in delivery, then sure can produce dulipcated copy for kk. Why ask him to redo his checkup. Bad service. Pi Pi Pi.
Kl and pi pi nua at home in the morning and meeting kk in the afternoon at UOB Center at Raffles Place to settle Starhub digital cable subscription. Turned out Starhub treasured new customers more than exisitng customers so kl and kk got to cancel the current subscription and re-sign to enjoy the better benefits.
After a very very busy working week, kk and kl decided to reward themselves by going to Marche for lunch today. The reason was last week we went marche for dessert. Stupid kk go order the Creape of the week. It tasted so terrible that we sworn to return to marche in order not to be scarred for life by that experience.
So began our journey from UOB Center to Suntec for Marche. We walked from UOB building to Fullerton Hotel to take bus 97 to Suntec. When we reached there, we discovered that the Marche there had closed down. Determined to eat Marche, we decided to head towards the branch at HMV in Orchard. We walked from Suntec to City Hall and took the train to Sommerset.
Maybe grandma is punishing my squanderer mother for squandering money, the Marche at HMV was closed down last week. Pi Pi Pi. Why is it so hard to enjoy a good lunch after a week of hardwork!!! Pi pi was very determined to eat Rosti. Pi pi forced Kl and kk to take bus from Orchard all the way to Vivo City. Pi Pi very sure vivo city branch still opened cos thats where we had our terrible Creape last week.
Ended up we reached Vivocity Marche (it had to be located at the ROOFTOP) at 3pm to have lunch. Pi pi ordered his favorite Rosti with smoked salmon. Kl ordered soup and kk order the BBQ snapper. Kl ordered the chocolate cake for dessert. We ate so much that we could not eat anything for dinner that night. But Pi pi is very happy. Pi pi had shown that with great determination, anything can be accomplished even if it mean travelling so many places just to eat marche. Pi Pi Pi.
There was a NUS man hunt competition at the rooftop of Vivocity that day. The joke of the day was when the Marche cashier asked kk why he did not participate. kk and kl looked blur at his comment. Then the marche cashier replied, " cos you using the MAN-HATTAN Card"..... Pi Pi froze to ice immediately from the leng xiao hua.
